Jack Evans

Senior Consultant

I am a Senior Consultant within the Talent Intelligence team. My focus is to work as a trusted advisor to my clients to understand their challenges regarding, people, talent, and their challenges to help them scale effectively. With a specific focus on talent and people strategies, my role is to help clients build market leading teams.

What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?

I have five years’ experience helping clients build and scale high-performing teams. Prior to NSCG, I managed a delivery team to help investor-backed businesses grow by helping them to develop and deliver people strategies around retention, recruitment, culture and scalability.

I have worked with board and c-level executives to help them build market-leading companies with a focus on people and talent.

How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?

People are the most important part of any business and therefore play a key part in their success or failure. Getting the right people strategy is an essential part of a company’s growth and I help give businesses the tools to become market-leading organisations. By giving them the data and insights they need, I am able to help businesses make decisions around their people and culture and give them the tools to build high-performing teams whilst retaining the best talent.

What are your thoughts on the future of your sector?

Technology and innovation will impact every sector, and although people will remain the most important aspect of any business, data will become the most impactful tool when it comes to decision making and businesses across all sectors will become more data-focused.

Businesses and individuals will look to automate as many processes as possible and there will be a huge rise in the number of businesses with a cultural shift towards entrepreneurship.

How do you prefer to start your day?

After hitting the snooze button and a pint of water, I set my goals and structure for the day so I know what I need to achieve that day.

What’s the best advice you were ever given?

I couldn’t decide on one so this may be cheating, but my favourite advice:

  • Desire is a contract you make with yourself to be unhappy until you get what you want
  • Always make the decision that helps your future self
  • Always make the decision that casts a vote for who you want to be
