- What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?
-
I’m a data-driven marketer with 13+ years of experience across several industries, from Sport to B2B Events, and Gaming to SaaS. I geek out over data and bring an inquisitive nature with an annoyingly positive outlook to the team.
- How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?
-
Our role in marketing is enablement, being creative thinkers and problem solvers to help the teams around us do their best work.
I believe in coaching over managing and motivating over telling. - What are your thoughts on the future of your sector?
-
People will always be the innovation that drives organisations. I believe we’re living through a shift in the way people think about and approach the workplace, and I’m excited to see where we get to. How we utilise technology in the workplace vs our personal lives is coalescing, forcing us all to level up our skills or be left behind.
- What do you enjoy outside of work? Any hobbies?
-
I’m a big rugby fan, and although I’ve moved from contact to tag, I still active in it. I also love getting out in nature whenever possible, from gardening to long walks/hikes.
- What’s your top three podcasts/books?
-
The Slight Edge – Jeff Olsen
Where There’s a Will, There’s a Wake
The Property Podcast - What’s your go-to productivity trick?
-
Highlighters and Post-it notes – although more so Monday.com now.
Colour coding priorities and using post-its help me get the million and one things in my mind so I can concentrate on the things I need to do. - How do you prefer to start your day?
-
I’m an early bird, for most of the year I’ll beat the sun up and get myself in the gym.
And then a coffee, coffee is life. - What was your first job?
-
Paper boy at 11 years old, got me used to early mornings and being consistent regardless of the weather.
- What’s the best advice you were ever given?
-
How you do one thing, is how you do everything, so make yourself proud.
