I’m a director within the Leadership Consulting team here at NSCG. As a trained businesses psychologist and executive coach, I work with organisations to develop their leaders.
- What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?
-
My passion for leadership and executive team development was inspired by my experience as a senior executive in the music industry for over 20 years. I led the marketing departments for several organisations across film and music at the sharp end of the digital revolution. This enabled me to hone my leadership skills and develop an in-depth understanding of the challenges leaders face in highly turbulent, fast-moving environments.
Of particular interest to me, is enabling leaders to thrive during times of change, including the various forms of organisational change, career transitions and significant life events. Fundamentally, I’m interested in supporting people, to gain a deeper understanding of their core personal values and purpose, to enable them to navigate and develop, even in challenging and uncertain times.
Educations and qualifications:
BA(HONS) Psychology, MSc. Occupational Psychology, Practitioners Diploma: Executive Coaching (AOEC), Certified in: Cognitive Behavioural Coaching; Stress and Resilience Coaching; BPS Qualified Psychometric Test User (Ability & Personality), accredited for a range of Psychometric instruments (including Hogan, Firo-B, OPQ) - How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?

My calling is to enable leaders to discover their inner artist, so that they can craft a life they love. Truly knowing and accepting ourselves as we are, is the foundation of growth and essential in both grounding and protecting us from external demands and shocks. Development is built on three core components: knowing yourself, understanding others and your impact on them, and building and maintaining effective relationships. I see my role as enabling leaders to strengthen their awareness and capability in each area so that they can adapt and thrive in any situation, no matter how volatile.
- What are your thoughts on the future of your sector?
-
Things are moving fast, with a sharp focus on using the very best data and insights to inform impactful and sustainable leadership solutions. The shift is to take a much more holistic perspective and implementation of interventions; away from ‘once and done’ and towards ongoing interaction over time.
