I am the principal consultant for the retail practice at NSCG. I work with many of the UK and Europe’s retailers, be these PLCs, privately owned or PE-managed assets, sharing my network of experienced interims and independent management consultants to deliver genuine change and transformation.
- What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?

I have worked in retail since 2009 and in the interim consulting market since 2017, sitting across grocery, homewares, DIY/trade, entertainment, pureplay, health & beauty and general retail. In 2020 the IIM featured me as a leading consultant, above any of my retail peers.
Before Interim Partners and NSCG I worked for Tesco, Morrisons and Just Eat, both in their commercial and their in-house consulting teams. I think that this experience gives me a unique view of what matters to my clients and to my interim candidates. Ultimately, I understand what great looks like. Before industry I worked at Deloitte in their operations consulting team – developing target operating models and delivering process improvements for a number of major clients in the retail space and beyond.
- What do you love the most about your job?

I love three things above anything else: the first is knowing when I’ve found my client the perfect person and the perfect experience to solve their problem. The second is the moment that my client starts to realise commercial gains from working with me – be that top line growth from acquiring a new customer, or massive savings from doing something a smarter way. The third is of course learning about new people and new companies. I’ve loved working in and around retail for 11 years now; long may that continue.
