MY ROLE
Principal Consultant – Leadership

I am a Principal Leadership Consultant at NSCG. I hold a BSc in Psychology from Royal Holloway and a MSc in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London. I am also a certified coach through the Academy of Executive Coaching (AoEC) and am fully qualified in psychometrics.

What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?

My background is all psychology. After starting within clinical psychology for the first few years of my career made the leap across to organisational and the workplace, where I have been for about 10 years now. I am deeply fascinated by my subject and have experience across a variety of roles all within assessment and development.

Key focus areas and projects undertaken have included the design and delivery of leadership development programs, supporting executive onboarding, long term succession programs and executive coaching engagements. I bring a wealth of experience from across both the public and private sectors, working globally with participants from future to executive leaders.

I also serve as an Associate Academic Tutor for Birkbeck College, University of London, supporting the Occupational MSc programs for modules including Employee Motivation, Life Career Development and Professional Development and Learning. I am a passionate advocate for evidence-informed practice and staying abreast of academic research trends.

How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?

I get to do so much within my development work, so there are lots of answers for this. Focusing on coaching – which I think has the power to unlock barriers to full potential, through encouraging individuals to think differently, considering new perspectives and creative ways of problem-solving.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Meditatation.

How do you prefer to start your day?

Coffee and a run if possible!

What’s the best advice you were ever given?
