MY ROLE
Principal Consultant

I am a Principal Consultant and responsible for providing interim managers to the Industrial Manufacturing and Energy markets at management and director level.

What are your thoughts on the future of your sector?

The UK Manufacturing Sector has most certainly had it’s fair share of challenges in recent years.  From Brexit and Covid and now geopolitical influences it has had to evolve and adapt accordingly.  From the increase in raw material costs and energy to the changes in minimum wage and employer NI contributions in 2025, these challenges are ongoing.  Many businesses have had to consider their supply chain resilience with a focus on nearshoring, labour market shortages and sustainability to name but a few.

In the medium to long term there is much to look forward to; technological advancements coupled with renegotiated trade deals and a move towards more sustainable practises.  Globally the UK has a strong reputation for manufactured goods, with a track record of adaptability and investment of technology.

The network of UK based Interim Managers NSCG within this sector are some of the best in the world, enabling business to take advantage of their knowledge and expertise to progress their offering in the marketplace.
