MY ROLE
Leadership Consultant

I am a Leadership Consultant within our LC team.

What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?

I hold a degree in psychology and a masters degree in organisational psychology, which is where my curiosity of understanding people in the work place stems. My previous experience is centred around “talent intelligence”; researching talent related issues including anything from competitor insights, to recruitment and retention challenges to reward and pay. This helps me appreciate the wider context in which we assess and develop individuals and the impact that this may have.

How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?

Helping individuals identify their strengths and development areas can help them to think about how to better develop themselves and continue learning.

What are your thoughts on the future of your sector?

I think the future of Assessment and development will be enhanced through the use of AI to enhance digital learning that is more personalise to the individual.

How do you prefer to start your day?

I like to start my day with exercise to wake me up. (Although this happens less and less these days)

What’s the best advice you were ever given?

Listen to others and consider their point of view, remain open minded.

What was your first job?

My first job was working an an executive search researcher, identifying and headhunting senior leaders across the public and private sector.

What’s your go-to productivity trick?

Lists! Lists! Lists! Use your diary to plan in time to do different activities.
