Interim measures: why it’s time to attract more female leaders to temporary senior management roles

The Institute of Interim Management (IIM) recently published its 2023 report, revealing some interesting trends, including the growing disparity between the number of men and women taking senior interim roles. It appears that the proportion of women in interim management positions has plateaued at around 30 per cent, halting a small but consistent annual increase seen in recent years.
