About the Role

We are supporting a fast-paced, regulated digital asset business as they look to appoint an Interim Head of People. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, scaling organisation operating at the forefront of the institutional crypto and digital assets market.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive team, taking ownership of the people strategy and leading the People & Culture function through a critical phase of growth and transformation. This is a maternity cover position, starting in July 2025 for a 12-month fixed term.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of people strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory expectations
  • Oversee HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management
  • Partner with leadership on organisational design, talent acquisition, and leadership development
  • Drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, and internal communications
  • Support organisational change projects, including global expansion and policy development
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the business
  • Lead and mentor a growing people team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Proven HR leadership experience within regulated, high-growth businesses (preferably fintech, digital assets, or financial services)
  • Strong people management and stakeholder influencing skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR compliance within the UK and ideally international markets
  • Experience managing people strategy in a scaling, dynamic organisation
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) as a minimum

Desirable:

  • Experience within crypto, digital assets, or blockchain firms
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in financial services
