NSCG is partnering with a global financial services firm to appoint an Interim Head of Data Science – a strategic and delivery-focused leader who will embed data science into the heart of decision-making and product innovation.
This role is about execution at scale. The successful candidate will lead a global team, drive measurable business impact, and deliver production-ready data science solutions across trading, risk, marketing, and operations.
We’re looking for someone with:
▪️ A proven track record of delivering data science initiatives from concept to deployment
▪️8+ years in data science, including 3+ in leadership roles
▪️An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
▪️Deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, and cloud-based data platforms
▪️Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen
