My client now seeks an interim CEO to establish a new Charity on firm foundations and lead and develop it to grow and deliver more impact. The suitable candidate will be responsible for developing the Mission, Vision and direction of the Charity underpinning the listed areas as below
· Strategy: Leading the development of a strategy, and ensuring that the Charity has robust and deliverable plans to bring in sustainable income and use it effectively to allocate grants to relevant priorities, and monitor impact.
· Fundraising: Leading the drive for income generation and growth, ensuring a wide donor base, and building positive relationships with donors, potential funding partners.
· External relations and communications: Raising and broadening the Charity’s profile and representing and communicating the work of the Charity compellingly and strategically to the Trust, wider audiences and our communities.
· People leadership: Building a positive team culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across the Charity. Leading, managing, and motivating the staff team, ensuring a supportive environment where staff are developed and can give their best. Ensuring best practice in volunteer management.
· Board and governance: Ensuring that the Charity meets all legal and compliance requirements, and working constructively with the Board to ensure it can provide effective governance in line with the Charity Governance Code. Putting in place a set of policies and control frameworks that ensure effective operations and governance.
· Partnership: Building relationships with key stakeholders and the local health and wellbeing community beyond the Trust in North-East London. Actively identifying and encouraging opportunities for collaboration.
· Organisation delivery: Ensuring the Charity operates effectively and efficiently, and is financially robust and sustainable, with strong systems and processes, including for finance, HR, fundraising, grantmaking, communications, data and risk management.
