GenAI and Data Specialist (Interim)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a GenAI and Data Specialist to work closely with product, growth, and leadership teams, identifying, testing, and scaling AI applications that deliver tangible business value. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong technical foundation and a commercial mindset, who enjoys working in fast-moving, delivery-focused environments.
You will play a central role in developing prototypes, advising on AI strategy, and ensuring data-led solutions are both practical and commercially impactful.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess opportunities where AI and data can create meaningful customer and business outcomes
- Rapidly develop and test GenAI applications and data-led product features
- Partner with product, commercial, and venture teams to shape and deliver AI use cases
- Stay abreast of AI, ML, and data engineering developments, bringing relevant ideas and applications into the business
- Support the growth of data capability across a portfolio of early-stage ventures
Candidate Profile
- Significant experience in data science, analytics, or AI, with exposure to Generative AI and its real-world applications
- Commercially minded with a clear understanding of how data and AI can drive value in product and operational settings
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in high-growth, venture, or start-up environments
- Practical, pragmatic, and delivery focused
Desirable experience:
- Cloud-based data and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Exposure to venture-building, financial services, insurance, mobility, or consumer products
