We’re here to recognise their contributions.

This year we’re once again shining the spotlight on the interim managers whose achievements deserve celebrating in our NSCG Interim Awards.

The awards comprises of six categories listed to the right as well as the title of 'Interim Manager of the Year' which will be chosen from nominations across these categories.

So, if you know an interim manager who has achieved excellence in the past 12 months, we want to hear from you.

BEST COMMERCIAL CONTRIBUTION

This award recognises commercial excellence by interims. We seek nominations that are focused on measurable financial outcomes whilst also demonstrating longevity of commercial impact beyond the end of the engagement. Nominations should highlight the significant impact made to commercial strategy, including to customers, channels, and markets. *judges will be looking for measurable top or bottom-line growth that is clearly attributable to an interims’ performance over the course of their assignment.

BEST BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION

This award is for interims who has successfully led and implemented significant organisational change, driving substantial improvements in efficiency, productivity, or profitability. We want to hear about Interims who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and execution skills in transforming operating models and overcoming internal political and external market challenges where others have not succeeded before them.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE (EFFICIENCIES)

This award recognises interims who have delivered bottom line growth across operations or supply chain, leading to significant improvements in profit, efficiency, quality, customer experience, and overall performance. We seek nominations for interims who have consistently delivered outstanding results by streamlining processes, reducing waste, optimising resources, and implementing innovative solutions with the customer front of mind.

CHANGE LEADER OF THE YEAR - CULTURAL CONTRIBUTION

This award is for interims who have driven significant and meaningful cultural change within an organisation. Those who have inspired and motivated teams in challenging environments, fostered a safe, empowering and collaborative workplace, and created a lasting culture of innovation and high performance.

BEST NEWCOMER

This award recognises the best of those who have started an interim career within the past 24 months. Those who have wasted no time in transferring their skills and experience from their successful permanent roles into interim assignments and have made a big impact with clients from day one.

LONG-TERM ACHIEVEMENT

This award is for interims whose careers boast impressive assignment after impressive assignment. Longevity is built through an interim ’ s reputation, so we want to hear from nominees who have built up and maintained a strong personal brand over years of successful engagements.

Meet our judging panel

Sarah Simpson

Chief Executive Officer - Caudwell Marine

Sarah is an experienced international CEO for global brands and an advisor to start ups and PE backed businesses. Sarah has also held various senior roles in the Automotive industry including as CEO of Porsche Cars UK.

David Bellis

Investor - BGF

David is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including identifying and executing investments, through to working with management teams.

Tunde HiNton

Founder - Connex Leadership Networks

Tunde is the founder and Managing Director of Connex, the leading leadership network within the affordable housing sector.

Natalie Seago

HR Director - DD

Natalie is the HR Director of DD, a Dental and Aesthetic supplies, products and services business backed by Sun Capital. She is an experienced user of multi-disciplinary interims and we are delighted she can join us on the judging panel for this year’s awards.

Caroline Angell

People and Organisational Effectiveness Director

Caroline has held both interim and permanent People & Talent roles at retailers including Kingfisher, Dixons Carphone (Currys) and Vodafone and has a passion for transforming organisations through leadership and culture. Caroline is currently acting as Interim HR Director for Sainsbury's
