Leadership consulting & talent solutions provider New Street Consulting Group (NSCG) has named HR Director Debbie Norman as its latest board member as the business commits to significant growth plans.
Effective from November 2021, Debbie has been with the business since its inception, having held roles across HR and operations before she was promoted to HR Director in December 2013.
NSCG supports ambitious organisations across a wide range of sectors to find, assess, build, and develop teams and leaders to solve a business’ most complex challenges. NSCG’s offering includes talent strategy, interim management, executive search, and agile talent solutions.
NSCG Chair, Chris Clegg said: “Our people are the key to our success and talent is also what makes our business tick, which means it’s vital that we have such a valuable HR perspective around our board table.
“This appointment represents our commitment to investing in our people and the future of our business. Debbie has demonstrated commitment and ambition for our organisation, having successfully led the HR function through several acquisitions and a rebrand as the business has evolved. She’s also a brilliant example of the career opportunities at NSCG. I look forward to continuing to work with her to meet our goals.”
Debbie Norman added: “It’s been a privilege to be part of NSCG’s growth story to date and to have this opportunity to help drive forward our ambitions.
“As HR is a key stakeholder for the business, I understand the challenges and opportunities for our audiences and can use this insight to support customer-centric decisions. Organisations recognise the importance of investing in attracting, developing, and nurturing talent not only because it is the right thing to do but because it makes good business sense. Companies that put talent strategy at the core of their business will maintain a competitive advantage today and in future.”
