New Street Consulting Group appoints new Managing Partner to lead Talent Acquisition business

The leadership and people solutions consultancy, New Street Consulting Group (NSCG), has appointed Dave Lea as Managing Partner. He will head up the Talent Acquisition division, leading the executive search, interim management and agile talent solutions teams. He will also take a seat on the board.

Dave joins NSCG from Korn Ferry where he was Managing Partner leading the Industrial consulting practice across the EMEA Region setting the strategy and executing through a large team of senior partners and latterly Managing Partner UK where he was accountable for leading the industrial practice across all lines of business and solution areas.

Throughout his career, he has held a breadth of leadership positions across countries, regions, sectors and large global client accounts where he works with executive teams to help align and effectively implement their strategies through their people.

This is a new role as the business progresses with growth plans. Previously, the Talent Acquisition division was led by group CEO Doug Baird, who will now focus on the long-term vision of the group.

Dave Lea commented: “NSCG have a unique opportunity to scale and build something that has the capabilities of a large firm but with the agility and culture of a small one. By bridging this gap, the business is positioned to offer the best of both worlds and create new choice in the market.

“The foundations have been laid for this vision with quality people and a great track record which, coupled with investments into infrastructure and ops, provides a launchpad to grow. And, unlike other firms, we have the license to be creative and innovative without constraints. Everything’s to play for and the real beneficiaries of this will be the clients.” Doug Baird, CEO of New Street Consulting Group said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Dave to the team. As we look towards our growth strategy over the coming years, Dave will be key in driving the expansion of our internal capabilities and building our reputation in the marketplace.”
