Karen Hubbard | Tracy Sheedy |
Karen’s retail career spans 30 years across international markets, multiple sectors and disciplines. Her last executive role was as Chief Executive Officer of FTSE retailer Card Factory PLC where she served for 4 ½ years. During her tenure she transformed the business from a High Street retailer to a brand with a significant Digital, International and Wholesaling presence. Prior to this role she was Chief Operating Officer at B&M, where she was accountable for a wide-ranging remit including IT, People, Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain. Previously she served on ASDA Stores Executive Board as Executive Director for Property, Multi-Channel and Format Development. In addition, she served 18 years for BP Oil PLC in their Retail division in various senior roles latterly as UK Retail Convenience Director. Having transitioned from an executive role in 2020, Karen now works full time as Non-Executive Director & Chair roles in a portfolio of businesses in both the private & public sector. | A Non-Executive Director and Remuneration Committee Chair with significant CHRO experience at Executive Committee and board level. This experience encompasses executive and non-executive roles across the chemicals, medical device, not-for-profit, technology, and manufacturing sectors, as well as consultancy and interim positions. Tracy’s current Non-Executive portfolio includes serving as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Tracsis plc, a Non-Executive Member of the Governance and Remuneration Committee at Orbit Group, and a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration and Nominations Committee at Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S). Her areas of interest and expertise include executive remuneration and workforce reward, culture and engagement, M&A and divestments, talent management, international HR, sustainability, and diversity and inclusion. |

Andrew Hodgson | |
Andrew is currently Chairman to a technology led maintenance and integrity provider to the energy and industrial sector and Global Underwater Hub which has been created to promote and improve the underwater sector. For the past 20 years Andrew has worked with Private Equity investors, growing businesses in the manufacturing, technology and energy spaces including the exits of SMD and the flotation of Spirit Aerosystems. Before this Andrew was a senior executive with Airbus, BAE Systems and British Steel PLC. He also devotes significant time to social and economic development, having been Chair of the North East LEP, and sits on numerous skills and trade groups, skills and trade groups. He was awarded an OBE in 2015 for his work in manufacturing and the economy. |
