Who wants to lead? How to navigate the complexities of leading within Retail, Consumer & Distribution businesses

NSCG would like to invite you to this upcoming event for senior HR Professionals.

WHEN: 16.30-18.30 (BST), Tuesday 22nd April 2025
LOCATION: Museum of Brands
111-117 Lancaster Rd
London
W11 1QT

About the event

Be part of an evening with four leadership experts from the retail space. They will delve into some of the challenges facing leaders and investigate whether there is a shortage of individuals wanting to take on leadership roles. They will explore the evolving role of middle management and address how the archetypal leader has morphed over time (or has it?).

You'll hear from Fiona Jones, Head of Talent at Marks & Spencer, Melissa Mulholland-Wells, Talent Director at Halfords, Tamara Griffin, Director, People Development at Sainsbury’s, and Rianne Silvey, a Director in our Leadership Consulting practice at NSCG, and hosted by Georgia Hartley-Brewer, Principal Consultant, Retail & Distribution at NSCG, as they provide insights and thought provoking views on:

  • Leading in muti-generational workplaces
  • Do fewer people want to lead in the middle and how can we empower this layer?
  • How has the archetypal leader evolved over time & the impact of EDI?
  • How to lead your own way?

You’ll be joined by your People and HR peers from across Retail, Consumer & Distribution, and have the opportunity to network with likeminded colleagues over refreshments.

We look forward to welcoming you.
