Marcelina Korzeń

Leadership Consultant

I am a Leadership Consultant supporting clients in developing their leadership capabilities to drive business performance.

What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?

I am a bilingual development specialist with an MA in Psychology specialising in management and leadership development. Since moving to London I have held several roles in professional services and after joining AchieveForum in 2016 I quickly progressed from a role of a Project Coordinator where I supported global projects and managed the delivery of EMEA programmes to a Design Consultant role where I shared my insight, advice and learning design expertise with global clients. I played a critical role in the design and delivery of global leadership initiatives for organisations in a range of industry sectors, including mining, logistics, pharmaceuticals and finance. In 2019 I joined Korn Ferry where I continued to support clients in their efforts to develop effective managers and leaders.

How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?

I am driven by the potential ‘good’ leadership can have on employee engagement and motivation. I am a firm believer that diversity and gender equality are leadership issues and I am passionate about helping clients build inclusive and equal workplaces to drive innovation and business profitability.

What are your thoughts on the future of leadership?

With the ever-growing uncertainty and continuous technological developments, it is easy to overlook the importance of the people factor. The recent global crisis showed how critical transparent and inclusive leadership are for business success. Organisations that are embracing the social changes and actively working towards building a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable society are the ones that will succeed in the future.

How do you prefer to start your day?

I like starting my day with a morning meditation and a yoga practice, it helps me stay grounded throughout the day, and if I can’t do that…coffee.
