I’m the managing partner of talent acquisition at New Street Consulting Group. In my role, I lead all teams within the talent acquisition including interim management, executive search and agile talent solutions.
- What experience and expertise do you bring to your role?
In my career that spans over two decades, I’ve held a breadth of leadership positions across countries, regions, sectors and large global client accounts. My area of expertise lies in people, organisations and HR where I have led client accounts and worked with executive teams to help align and effectively implement their strategies through their people. As NSCG continue to scale and bridge the gap in the market, I’m excited to use my experience to drive and deliver the growth strategy.
- How are you helping people to achieve their full potential?
To me, there’s a direct correlation between helping the team fulfil their full potential and the knock-on effect that has on clients. There is an abundance of leading talent here and one of my key missions is to strengthen that talent and build the capability to trade in each other’s specialisms. The team wins, but the main beneficiaries are clients who will profit from the 360-degree solutions delivered by market-leading experts.
- What are your top three podcasts?
- The Ricky Gervais Show
- Dermot O’Leary – People, Just People
- All Radio 4 comedy
- How do you prefer to start your day?
Tea… And if it’s a Saturday, tea and biscuits in bed!
- What's the best advice you were ever given?
“This too will pass.” Whilst this is often said to people in times of trouble, the flip side is that it makes you really appreciate the good times. Life is about ups and downs and learning to appreciate both, as both can be transient. When it’s good, soak in it, appreciate it and don’t take it for granted, when it’s bad know it’s temporary and have the courage, confidence and conviction to find your way back to the good.
