A client of ours is looking for an interim workforce design lead, to work as part of a transformation programme within a London local authority.
They are seeking a senior HR/change professional to work as an interim Workforce Design Lead to lead and oversee the design and implementation of their Asset Management Workforce Operating Model. This includes various strategies and plans covering workforce size and structure; resourcing strategies and plans; behaviours & culture, brand & value proposition; learning, development and career Progression; HR and OD Partnership and Enabling Support Model.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of workforce strategy and planning, with an understanding of Housing/maintenance and hands-on experience in resolving workforce issues. They are looking for a strategic thinker and problem-solver who is hands on and excels in communication and has a track record of maximizing HR value.
The primary objective will be to define the optimal future Asset Management workforce and structures, enhance the Asset Management workforce strategies & plans, and contribute to the overall success of the Asset Management Transformation Programme.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & DELIVERABLES
1. Owns the overall work package and business case for designing the future Asset Management workforce operating model.
2. Conducts research through various methods to identify root causes of inefficiencies and ways of working
3. Provides advice and recommendations to resolve short term issues incl. immediate workforce budget pressures and design and plan a sustainable long term workforce strategy & plan including the development of associated policies.
4. Reviews and designs systems and processes to support proposed solutions
This role will be for up to 5 days per week for an initial period of 6 months, with hybrid working
