I am seeking an experienced Interim Technical Director to oversee technical operations within UK based manufacturing business. This pivotal role will ensure engineering excellence, product innovation, and operational efficiency while supporting strategic business goals.
The successful candidate will provide leadership in technical processes, material innovation, quality assurance, and compliance, driving continuous improvement across production and R&D functions.
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete and precast production processes, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships across the business
- To work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Extensive experience in concrete manufacturing, pre-cast engineering, or materials science.
- Strong understanding of structural design, concrete mix compositions, and casting technologies.
- Oversee the technical direction of the business, ensuring innovation and efficiency
- Product Development: Spearhead research into new materials, sustainability practices, and advanced casting methods.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain high standards of product quality, safety regulations, and industry compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to production workflows and reducing waste
