We’re seeking a strategic and influential Head of Governance and Risk to drive organisational excellence. This is a 12 month maternity cover assignment in the South East of England. The ideal candidate will provide critical leadership in risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as organisational lead on matters of governance and compliance.
- Maintain and enhance risk management framework including internal controls
- Ensuring compliance with Procurement legislation and driving value for money
- Internal Audit and Legal
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in risk management and data protection
- Company Secretarial experience in the Housing Sector
- Experience in managing relationships with external advisers such as Internal Auditors and Lawyers
- Experience of leading substantial, and successful business transformation and change management.
- Up to date, professional knowledge of the legal, regulatory and policy frameworks in which Housing Associations operate.
