My client, a local authority in the South East of England is looking for an interim head of asset for their housing services. This is a busy and sizeable local authority, so this assignment will require an interim that has experience of working in highly pressurised situations, where change management is at the centre of the requirement.
The interim will provide leadership on all areas of housing asset strategy, working with the team to turn the strategy into a programme of works, that can be passed over to contractors and in-house teams for delivery.
They will develop creative and innovative solutions to service delivery, ensuring a process of continuous service improvement. There is some work to ensure that the structure, systems and procedures within the Division operate effectively, so where necessary. they will need to recommend and implement improvements and modifications.
They will draft, deliver and monitor service delivery plans in accordance with corporate aims, statutory requirements and best practice.
The role is for a minimum of 6 months, will require on-site presence for half of the week.
