Miles Otway Graham webb farhang daemi
Miles has over 18 years in the UK lower mid market, most recently spending 11.5 years as a Partner and latterly Head of New Business for Connection Capital, a UK SME focused PE investor and alternative asset platform. Leaving Connection in May this year to establish his own firm, Miles is now one of two Founding Partners of Ama Capital, £5-15m cheque PE investment firm currently in launch phase looking at its first deals. Ama Capital have deployed just under £210m of capital across 27 UK lower mid market transactions and have delivered realised returns of 3.6x money across 17 exits to date.

Alongside his founder role with AMA, Miles is a Non-Exec Investment Committee member for two smaller investment firms - Boxfund VC, a consumer brand focused VC investor and Bridgford Capital, a £50m alternative asset fund focused on the modern classic car market. Miles is also a special advisor to a small PE investor focused on sub £1m EBITDA profitable businesses, Growth Fund 1.

Graham has over 20 years of executive-level experience. With a track record of success across a range of sectors, Graham has earnt a reputation as an interim transformation leader who delivers significant business improvement and financial results, often focussing on operational transformation. He has held senior roles in crisis management and operations achieving transformative outcomes for organisations across industries including aviation, security, manufacturing, facilities management, construction, the third sector and creative industries. Farhang brings 30+ years of global leadership in innovative technology businesses, particularly in medical and life sciences. With a strong background in strategy and business growth and in-depth expertise in health and med tech, he has pioneered AI and VR research, launched FDA/CE-approved medical software, and excelled in many consulting, interim and executive roles, including at Circle Health. Holding BSc, PhD degrees, and memberships in IET and BCS, Farhang is a published author and sought-after speaker at tech and healthcare events.
